Just to know……..
It is funny. I was just talking with a friend today and we were talking about gas prices. I told my friend that oil prices probably would go up. With the mid-east crisis and our economy, we can certainly expect hyperinflation. The friend is a Christian and said don’t give me all of the biblical facts, just real stuff. Well, OK then, I proceeded to tell this friend what and why you might want to know what is happening in the world. Well today the price did not go up.
That is good. This friend said “Judy, I thought you said the prices would go up. We need to just trust God and not let the enemy get in our head.”. Well, I agree, worry does not add an hour or minute to our life. Denial also is not a great place to be. So what do we do? Well, for me, if we are informed we have time to prepare and not panic when and if things do happen.
I do an Internet business for multiple streams of income…just to stay ahead of unemployment and a shaky American economy. If I think gas prices might go up..I will fill the tank up to save 10 bucks. No harm, no foul. I stay informed not to fear but because this is a fascinating time to be alive and watch what is happening. Faith is where I stay. Fear I push away and Reality is what I try to hold on to. Truth is my absolute quest. Whatever the truth is.
In this economy the truth might not be all bad but there are changes that must be made if we are to overcome. Ultimate truth is Jesus and his sacrifice on the cross for us to have eternal life.
Certain celebrities seems to be in denial right now. I don’t think denial is a great place to be. Hope deferred makes a heart sick. Hope is all we have but we have to have our eyes wide open. Just some thoughts for today.
